ReCycles offers you to rent bikes for cycling trips along the Canal du Midi. Quality mountain bike or hybrid bike, equipped with luggage rack supporting 25 kg load, travel bags waterproof 40 liter capacity (optional), kickstand, bell, bottle cage, lock, puncture repair kit, comfort saddle with an optional saddle gel pad, everything has been thought to make your trip as pleasant as possible. Bikes for men or women in sizes XS / S / M / L / XL. We also have some baggage trailers BOB single wheel type for rent. Our Bicycle rental shop in Toulouse is located less than a mile from the starting point of the hiking tracks along the canal. NEW Possibility (optional) to leave the bikes in CARCASSONNE / BEZIER/ AGDE with repatriation by us. It is strongly advised to book your bike rentals in advance, set dates, select the bicycle models (male or female), to give us the sizes of the people who will be riding the bikes, tell us if you need bags or other options. We record a pre-booking of 8 days once you have provided us with all these details (by mail to b.petitjean@recycles.fror telephone 05 62 48 60 40), the final booking intervening only after receiving a deposit of 30% of the bike rental. To download the booking form: BOOKING FORM At the shop you will find tourist guides with maps and indications as regards stops and accommodation along the ride, tours around the canal and many tips to organize your biking trip, whether you chose to ride towards the Mediterranean coast (Sète) or towards the Atlantic (Bordeaux). Come ride with family or friends, you cannot get lost, the trail follows the canal, there is no car, and very little gradient. On the Sète side, you will find paved road until Castelnaudary, then alternating tarred road and dirt track. On the other side, the way towards Bordeaux is fully tarred but follows some small roads. World Heritage Site by Unesco, the Canal du Midi on bike will enchant you with its diversity. Cycling by the Canal du Midi represents an other kind of a vacation, carfree and stress-free.
