Chambre d'hôtes des Reinières
Former goatherds and cheesemakers, Babeth and Franck welcome you to their recently renovated family farm for one or more nights in the countryside, lulled by the tranquillity of nature.
Around the house, retired goats and their two sheep will delight young and old alike. Today, the owners raise Norman cattle on an island in the Loire.
The house is close to the Loire à Vélo cycle route and the GR3 (2 km) between Ancenis and Angers.
Whether you're on foot, on a bike or just passing through, for one or more nights, this is the house for you. On request, Babeth and Franck will prepare dinner for you, using produce from local farms. These farmers are keen to introduce you to healthy produce, most of it organic.
The farm also produces vegetables and eggs, which you'll find on your plate.
Franck's mules, Gaïa and Iazy, work the young garden using animal traction.
A hearty breakfast will give travellers a chance to recharge their batteries before a good walk, cycle or simply relax if you feel like it.
For a cosy night's sleep, there are several options:
- the Les Piafs room, for 2 people (on the ground floor) with a double bed (140cm) and private bathroom
- Les Peupliers, for 3 people (upstairs) with a double bed (160cm) and a single bed (80cm).
- Les Mules, a 2-person room (upstairs) with either 2 single beds or, on request, a single 180cm bed.
The upstairs bathroom is shared by both rooms.
For families, baby equipment (cot, high chair, etc.) is available.
In fine weather, take advantage of the large garden and small pond to spread out the deckchairs and simply relax, laze around and take a break.
Halfway between Nantes and Angers, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity of the house to delight the curious.
The farm has a closed garage for bikes, as well as everything you need for repairs and washing. You can recharge your battery free of charge, and wash and dry your clothes for a small charge.
