In the heart of the southern Vosges forest, halfway between Plombières-les-Bains and Le Val-d’Ajol and just a few minutes from the RN57, Hôtel Enfoncé is a charming guesthouse that can accommodate up to 11 people. This historic building, constructed in 1852, has served many purposes over the years: hotel, café, restaurant, and then grocery store. After being closed for twenty years, it has returned to its roots as a place of hospitality since the fall of 2022.
Completely renovated with an environmentally friendly approach, the house features natural materials such as wood and lime plaster. The four cozy bedrooms harmoniously blend old-world charm with contemporary touches, featuring exposed stone, wooden trellises, arched doors, and travertine fences.
In the garden, the Kota grill and Finnish sauna enhance the experience with moments of conviviality and relaxation. Breakfast showcases local artisans and French products, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. An all-inclusive meal package is also available by reservation, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice required.
