La Longère

Our Longère is the result of a major renovation that began at the end of 2021.
The old and the new rub shoulders, the many openings let in light at any time of the day. The materials and colours are natural and soft. Large volumes are present in every room.
The two guest rooms are in the image of the house. Spacious, comfortable, relaxing.
The exterior is still in the making, but already you will be able to appreciate the extent of the space with the Gironde estuary right next to it.
La Longère is directly on the Vélodyssée or Canal des 2 mers bike route.
La Longère is located right at the entrance to the small village of Mortagne-Sur-Gironde.
You will find all the shops for basic necessities. By bike or on foot you can reach the port where you can browse the second-hand shops and local artists. Sailboats reach the estuary through the lock. Life is peaceful here.
Dare to descend the estuary south of Royan. Come and soak up the vines, the wildlife, the migratory birds, the estuary returned to its wild nature.
We are 25 minutes from Royan or Saintes, 45 minutes from the island of Oléron, 1h00 from La Rochelle or Bordeaux.
