L'Escale de Mortagne

You'll enjoy optimal comfort in a green environment. The Escale de Mortagne gîte is located in a traditional Charentais house built in the 15th century.
The total surface area is around 48 m² on two levels.
On the first floor, you'll find the living room with kitchen, lounge and large dining table in front of the fireplace.
Upstairs is the master bedroom, with a 140x190 bed, and a secondary bedroom with two 90 cm bunk beds, closed by a door.
The shower room adjoins the master bedroom, and features a large enclosed shower, washbasin with storage unit (including hairdryer), illuminated mirror, towel dryer and WC.
A wide range of equipment is at your disposal:
kitchen equipment (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso Magimix pod coffee maker, crockery and pots and pans), 4K TV, Bluetooth radio, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and household products.
The apartment is Wi-Fi connected.
All rooms have electric heating for winter (not used in summer).
There are two opposing entrances to the apartment:
- on one side, through the communal courtyard (the "quereux"), where you'll find private outdoor parking for your vehicle;
- on the other, through l'Escale de Mortagne's landscaped garden, where you can enjoy a private terrace equipped with table, chairs, garden furniture and deckchairs.
The gîte is ideally situated in a quiet country setting, 5 km from the beaches of Châtelaillon-Plage and close to the expressway serving the three islands of Ré, Aix and Oléron, as well as La Rochelle, the Marais Poitevins and Rochefort.
