Dive into four centuries of naval history in the Brière...From the transport of peat to 19th century trade, via triangular voyages, follow the sailors of the Brière around the world.
You'll also discover the history of shipwrights, from the 16th-century rowboats built in the port of Rozé to the very first ocean liners built by the Scott shipyards, now known as Chantiers de l'Atlantique!
Barge trip up the Brivet:
In summer, on Wednesdays: departure at 3.15pm - Port de Méan (St-Nazaire)
1h30 by barge to reach the historic port of Rozé.
Screening of the archive film "Brière et Briérons" (1946).
Visit to the Montoir de Bretagne museum. Return by coach. Booking essential.
