Distillerie Combier
The tour takes in the still room, a magnificent 19th-century installation designed by the Eiffel engineers. Home to the famous Triple Sec liqueur, the distillery now produces a wide range of liqueurs, gins, absinthes and syrups. The tasting session at the end of the tour is an opportunity to sample the flagship products, alcohol-free syrups and famous varieties of absinthe, thanks to the new Colette-style tasting method. The distillery also produces Guignolet d'Anjou, a regional speciality of which the Saumur distillery is the birthplace.
